Saturday

Saturday was suppose to be our trip home. We should have arrived at GSP at 10:20 on Saturday night. However, that didn't happen! We checked out of our Hong Kong hotel at 8 on Saturday morning expecting to get on a plan at 9. But when we got to the desk we found out our flight was delayed until 6:45 Saturday night. Which meant we would miss our connecting flight in Chicago. So we had to spend the day in the Hong Kong airport waiting for our flight and then spend the night in Chicago. It was not what we had hoped for but we couldn't have asked for better from Lucy on the flight home. She was awesome on our flight from Hong Kong to Chicago. She spent some time sleeping, playing and eating. She was a great traveller. Especially, when we had been out all day travelling. When we arrived at Chicago we went through immigration and Lucy became a US citizen!  United booked us a room and we stayed in Chicago for the night. We ordered food as soon as we made it to the room and we both felt so glad to drink a drink with ice! In the end it probably worked out for the best because we had a rest between flights and Lucy did great. We woke up early on Sunday and caught our flight home! Lucy slept almost the whole flight home!
